Rooted in the belief that membership is the business of people and the power of community, Melody Jordan-Carr has been both a student and a contributor to the tree of membership knowledge for trade associations and professional societies of diverse sizes and industries. From nurturing membership teams, to growing value-driven programs, she has been a trusted advisor to leaders and staff to germinate membership solutions that help association memberships flourish. An empathetic, creative, strategic… and yes, data-driven association leader, Melody has invested in the growth of numerous associations over more than two decades including the American Trucking Associations, ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership, and the National League of Cities, among others. She earned her master's degree in Nonprofit and Association management and bachelor’s degree in journalism. She currently serves as the immediate past chair of the ASAE Foundation’s Foresight Works Advisory Group.
